# Alert rules and first-alert waits

> A rule-by-rule reference for ANSIO Spot, Futures, Rates, Autopilot, infrastructure and DEX alerts, including thresholds, persistence delays and recovery behavior.

**Waits** is how long a detected condition must persist before its first alert. **Reminds** is a separate personal interval. The severities below are the rule defaults; a recipient can override them.

Monitoring evaluates about once a minute. **None** in a Waits column means no additional persistence delay, not immediate delivery on each trade.

## Spot bots and account liquidity

| Rule or message | Condition | Waits | Default |
| - | - | - | - |
| MM / SPR / EQL / CSH is down | The strategy is exited. Read its exit reason and remaining orders. | 10 min | Critical |
| The bid / ask side has no orders | A fresh observation shows an empty side for the running Spot MM. | 2 min | Critical |
| Balance under floor | Quote or token value is below the account's applicable floor. | 5 min | Critical |
| Envelope breach | Average depth across both sides is below the configured Autopilot target within its band. | 10 min | Critical |
| Bid / Ask side thin | Bid-to-ask depth ratio within ±2% is below 0.4 or above 2.5. | 10 min | High |
| Spread outside the contract | The market spread exceeds the configured Autopilot cap. | 5 min | High |
| Spread bot is losing orders | Breaches reach 70% of Max lost orders, rounded up, before exceeding the allowed maximum. | None | High |
| Equaller budget spent | A run allowance is exhausted while the strategy still reports running. | None | High |
| Cashout cannot price an order | Price precision makes the computed ask zero or negative. | None | Critical |
| Cashout is not selling | An eligible Cashout waiting reason persists, excluding the separate price-precision failure. | 15 min | Medium |

These are account-scoped rules. A Spread or Cashout problem does not mean every strategy on that account stopped.

For the exact bot response and next steps, open [MM errors](https://docs.ansio.trade/spot/mm-errors.md), [Spread errors](https://docs.ansio.trade/spot/spread-errors.md), [Equaller errors](https://docs.ansio.trade/spot/equaller-errors.md) or [Cashout errors](https://docs.ansio.trade/spot/cashout-errors.md).

## Futures

| Rule or message | Condition | Waits | Default |
| - | - | - | - |
| FMM is down | The Futures strategy is exited. | 10 min | Critical |
| Futures quotes blocked | A qualifying strategy error blocks quotes. The normal max-position allocation wait is excluded. | 2 min | High |
| Futures available margin below 10% | Available margin divided by total margin is below 10%. | 1 min | High |
| Futures account data is stale | Fresh derivatives data is unavailable while a Futures strategy or position requires it. | 1 min after stale detection | High |
| Liquidation distance …% | Distance is below 15%. The alert itself does not close the position. | None | Critical |
| Position past …% of limit | Distance from target divided by Max position size is at least 60%. | 5 min | High; Critical at 80% |

Position and margin controls do not wait for these notification delays. Read [Futures errors](https://docs.ansio.trade/futures/errors.md) for the difference between a strategy guard and an alert.

## Price sources

| Rule or message | Condition | Waits | Default |
| - | - | - | - |
| Price source changed / fell back to Market | A recorded source change to Market, or the applicable missing-source fallback condition. | None | Critical |
| Rates frozen, waiting for a decision | The reference guard is holding the last accepted quote after a shock. | None | High |
| Rates source unreachable | The external source is failing to provide a usable quote. | 1 min | Critical |

These are account-scoped. Read the full detail to distinguish a manual source change, a fallback, a frozen quote and a missing quote.

An example of a source failure. The error record states what happened to the orders; that behavior is not the same for every guard policy.

[Price sources](https://docs.ansio.trade/spot/price-source.md) explains where to read the binding, bid, ask and freshness.

## Autopilot and infrastructure

| Rule or message | Condition | Waits | Default | Scope |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| Autopilot cannot hold the contract | The latest Autopilot action contains an escalation. | None | High | Account |
| Autopilot: … recommendations | A current, unreviewed Assisted proposal has recommendations or changes to review. Nothing is applied by the notification. | None | High | Account |
| Venue is not answering | The venue's relevant private connections remain unavailable. | 3 min | Critical | Venue |
| Worker offline / Oracle is not reporting | The trading worker is missing, stopped or has a stale heartbeat while strategies require it. | 1 min after detection | Critical | Desk |

The worker's heartbeat is considered stale at two minutes. That stale threshold is separate from the rule's one-minute wait.

A working public ticker does not establish that the venue's private account connection works.

## Recovery before Resolved

Some rules use a different recovery threshold so that a value hovering on the boundary does not repeatedly open and close the incident.

| Incident | Recovery condition once active |
| - | - |
| Balance under floor | The relevant balances recover to at least 125% of their floors. |
| Envelope breach | Depth recovers to at least 110% of the target. |
| Side thin | The depth ratio returns to 0.5–2.0. |
| Spread outside the contract | Spread returns below 90% of the cap. |
| Liquidation distance | Distance reaches at least 20%. |
| Position threshold | Distance from target falls below 50% of the limit. |

After the rule clears, the condition must remain clear for **60 seconds**. Missing data does not count as recovery.

## DEX activity: large sales

**DEX activity** monitors token sales into a selected pool independently of Autopilot and the bot's price source.

In **Add monitor** or **Edit**, choose the client and pair, network, pool and token. Use **Check pool** to verify the token contract before enabling the monitor. **Use price-source pool** can fill the pool from the account's binding.

| Setting | Effect |
| - | - |
| Minimum sale · USD | Selects which sales qualify. |
| Minimum interval · minutes | Sets the interval between sale alerts for that monitor; supported range is 30–1,440 minutes. |
| Enable monitoring | Starts watching new trades after saving. |
| Pause | Stops that pool monitor without stopping the trading bot. |

Checks run about once a minute. Only new trades after saving are tracked, and public trade pages can miss activity in very busy pools.

**Large token sales in pool** is a Medium, event-based notification. It can summarize a batch of qualifying sales. It does not send ordinary repeats or a resolved message for an old sale. Telegram or Discord delivery preferences still apply.
